    Hi,

     

    Actually i have two drop downs (Master and  Detail drop downs) on form, those dropdowns are getting data via externally/using data connection. Detailed Drop dwon values will change as per selection in master drop down.

    For Example, think Master dropdown have values like A,B and C... detailed Drop down have values A1, A2, and A3 when Selection in master drop down is "A"

     

    Currently i'm doing based on number of items in Detailed Dropdown, limiting rows of repeating table of infopath. Please check the link

    Now what i'm looking is - When values updated in detailed drop down....Repeating table rows should display without doing  "Insert" action on the form. Number of rows in repeating table should equal to no of items in Detailed drop down

    Actually Detailed Dropdown will be one of the column in repeating table, that column should display as text box - each value in one row of repeating table

     

    Like repeating table should be

     

     

     

                       Col 1                                       Col2 

    row1  - A1 (frist value of dropdown) - empty text box

    row2 - A2(Second value of dropdown) - empty textbox

    row3 - A3 (third value of dropdown) - empty textbox 

     

     

     

    Please provide your suggestions

    I'm having a lot of trouble understanding your description of the form or what it is you want to accomplish.  Are you saying that you have dropdown boxes in the repeating table, but you also want to add rows to the repeating table when a value from the dropdown is selected?  Are there multiple repeating tables? Nested repeating tables?  Could you describe the matter a bit more clearly or post some mockup images?

    Thanks for your response Jimmy.  Actaully i need only one repeating table. Let me put my req in simple steps

     

    For exmple - On InfoPath form, we have - State DD on form (not in repeating table),  and  one repeating table which shuld have two columns like City and Amount.. Values for State and City are in SP list

    when user select the one sutable state in the drop down like CA(california), IL(Illinois) repeating table should dispaly number of rows as city data in SP list. and Amount column with empty text box.

    If user selected CA, If in SP list four cities are present related to CA, then in repeating table four rows should created and each row should have city data

     Please check attachment, please let me knwo if any info required
