How to make 6 fields (1 group) mandatory depending on what a previous fields selection was

    Hello,

    Yet another newbie question:

I have a field called "type" with three choices available.  I want to be able to set one group (which is formed by 6 fields) mandatory if the user selects "X" choice from the "type" field.  Is this possible? I've just spent over 3 hours playing with all possible variables I can think of within rules but I can only set this to work as a validation rule with one of the fields of the 6 I need to become mandatory.

Ideally I would do something where the "Cannot be blank" box would be checked if the user selects "X" but I cannot figure our how this is done.

Help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I only did 4 fields, but the technique works.  Could you give this a try?
