    Repeating Table on Infopath SP list form

    Hi,

    It's Regards Infopath 2010 list form with repeating table,

    Actaully I've infopath form with repeating table attached to SP list.  I'd like to make one column as duplicate, it should have same value on every row like When user entered value in the column at frist row and it should replicate same value when user Inserting new rows in repeating table.

    Other question, i'm tyring to limit repeating table rows based on number of items in dropdown list (values in drop drow will change, based on master dropdown selection)

    Please provide yoor suggestions, Thanks in Advance.

    For your first question, I think using the following default value formula for the field should work:

    ../preceding-sibling::my:repeatingGroupName/my:fieldName

    I'd also suggest disabling the control using the condition preceding-sibling::my:repeatingGroupName, so that people can only modify the first row.

    For the second question, is there a predetermined maximum number of rows for the table?  If so, I think the best option may be to disable the add/remove rows functionality, use the Default Values dialog to give the group the maximum number of rows, and then use conditional formatting to hide rows based on the dropdown selection:

    Condition: count(preceding-sibling::repeatingGroupName) => maxRowsField
