First, XSN file is the archive containing many files (you can extract them , for example, by changing .xsn extension to .cab) and  it is a template for creating an Infopath XML data forms based on XSN template
So, before extracting the form you should generate it first, I believe so...

     Thank you for your reply,

In my project, the customs demand that they want to define a form by themselves .   And I discover that the infopath is very proper to make forms , by the infopath , I just need the form made by my customs,  the other functions infopath can do here I don't need .

so I want to ask if there some java api that can help me read the form ,  all the template(.xsn file) made by my customs.  Here I want to  write some codes to read the xsn by java so that I can get the form, thank you !

I really would like to know myself how to better answer such kind of questions.
And this skill is very important in requirements formulations and communication with clients/customers.

Infopath is client technology to be run inside and in context of or by some other "container" like Infopath Sharepoint  Form Services, Infopath Filler, Office apps like Excel, etc.

IMO, there is sense to make APIs to the latter (server-like processes, tools, frameworks).

To which of them are you planning to run Infopath forms and respectively to get APIs to?
