    Populate Repeating Table

I have a repeating table tied to a database connection.  Upon first opening the form, there are no rows in the repeating table.

I have a secondary sharepoint data connection called "names"

    The challenge:

When the form OPENS, I want to auto insert rows into the database connected repeating table based on the values in the secondary data connection.

e.g. secondary sharepoint data connection has the names, jim, bob, carly in it.  When I open the form, I want the database connected repeating table to automatically insert 3 rows with the Name columnn defaulting to jim, bob and carly (one name for each row.)

I'd like to do it without code if possible.

This isn't really possible without code - but you can sort of mimic this functionality by including more roews than you anticipate needing in your main data source (under Data --> Defaults in IP 2010, Tools --> Defaults in IP 2007). I'm attaching a sample - save it locally, right click it and select Design, then you can preview to take a look.

    Re: Populate Repeating Table

Thanks Hilary.  I reviewed the example and it could work for me.
