    VB6 CreateObject

We use a home grown VB6 ActiveX control to open InfoPath documents from our RAD8 WebSphere application. With InfoPath 2007 we use CreateObject("InfoPath.Application.2"). However we wish to upgrade to InfoPath 2010, but this function call doesn't work unless I remove the ".2" and use CreateObject("InfoPath.Application"). Has there been a syntax regression for InfoPath 2010 in this instance or is there another version number that needs to be tacked onto the end?

This is just a guess, but my hunch would be that InfoPath.Application.2 is the name 2007 and 2007 only, InfoPath.Application.3 would be the name for 2010, and just InfoPath.Application is an backwards-compatible name that works for whatever version of InfoPath is installed.
