Can you use 'preceding-sibling' with an Access database connection?

I used a Data Connection to connect to a single table in an Access database, but I can't seem to get the 'preceding-sibling' functionality to work.Would like to be able to use information from the last record in a database to autopopulate a new record with the same information.  The new record will have some information overwritten and when user submits the new record it will be added to the database.  This will allow a track record of changesThe error I get is: "preceding-sibling::Report_Request/Version" does not point to a valid location path of a field or group.

    Hierarchy - MyFields > dataFields > d:Report_Request > Version

    Thanks!

Hi - preceding-sibling should work - you may just have the syntax not quite right. What field are you placing your rule on?
