Combine repeating text fields into single field display

I have a form that utilizes a repeating section with a free form text box.  The purpose is to capture updated comments while leaving the previously entered data.  I've determined that to display all of the updated comments either in the library or to display all the contents of the repeating section in an email, I need to consolidate them all into a single text box.  Unfortunately, the text box will only display the first entry.  Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

If you mean a promoted property in your form (and thus a column in a form library), you should have the options First, Merge, etc when promoting the field. If you're only seeing the first entry, perhaps First is selected. Try to modify your promoted properties and use Merge instead.

Thanks Ernesto.  I was able to change the promoted properties to merge.  My next dilema is appending a prefix.  I have field Date_Timestamp and I would like it to appear before or after each text entry in the repeating table.  The trick is, the Date_Timestamp has to be read only.  The goal is to show an audit trail of updates.  Not sure how to accomplish this... possibly an action on Submit but not sure what the rule should say.
