Soap connection with WSDL web service

    Hi All,

I have a custom wsdl web service using basicHttpBinding that Im trying to connect to using soap through infopath wizard. I can connect to the service with the link as:

https://server/infopathforms.svc?WSDL, and the next screen shows all the web methods to choose. When I choose a web method from the list, I get an error:

"Infopath has encountered an error. The operation failed. Type mismatch." and cannot go any further. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas?

Also, this is a web service hosted on another server in IIS and not in sharepoint mapped folders. Can I call this service through infopath wizard using soap?

I haven't run into this particular error, but what kind of datatypes do the web method's parameters have?
