    Excel to Infopath issue

    I recently purchased the Excel to XML tool and have used it successfully.  I have been working on a new application that has a repeating table in the template.  I have created the excel sheet with 2 worksheets(Sheet1 and Savings), Sheet1 has the main data and Savings has the repeating table data.  I am creating the forms locally and the forms are being generated correctly except for the forms that have more than 1 child document. (Sheet1 has a unique document ID column as the key to the Savings worksheet. The Savings worksheet can have mutiple matching children)

    When I run the executable to create the xml files locally, the rows that match 1 to one from the Parent to Child get created and can be opened succefully. The rows that match more than 1 child document are created but the forms cannot be opened.  The error when opening the forms is:

    The form contains schema validation errors:  Details:

    Element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2012-06-28T14:32:08}Savings' is unexpected according to content model of parent element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2012-06-28T14:32:08}myFields'.
    Expecting: {http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2012-06-28T14:32:08}ProjLanguage, {http://schemas.microsoft.com/off....

    I have a Proj Language field in the template but it is not part of the mappings file.  The Proj Language field is a drop down that chooses the language for the form, it gets choices from an external data source which is anothe xml file on the site. (This is using the language localization from Matt Faus)

    I attached the mapping and template

    Hi,

    I'm sorry you've run into issues.

    Could you attach the XML for the first child and the XML for the second child? If I've understood correctly, there is no error in the first but the error shows up for the second one. I'd like to compare those two.

    Thanks.

    To make sure we are on the same page. I have an Excel workbook with two sheets.  Sheet1 and Savings. Sheet1 has the data that populates the main form.  Savings has the data the populates the repeating table on the form.  In the example below, 12345 is created, but I cannot open the form. 67890 is created and can be opened.  Any form that has more than one entry in the Savings worksheet gets the error can cannot be opened.  I posted one of the xml outputs that will not open.

     If you view the XML you can see that both of the entries are created in the repeating table.

    Sheet1

    Old ID                  Project Title                     Description ...........

    12345                  Test1                               This gets created but cannot be opened

    67890                  Test2                               This gets created succefully and can be open

    Savings

    SaveID       Saving Month         SavingYear         SavingType        Saving Amount

    12345          January                        2013                 Admin               1200

    12345          January                        2013                 Hard Saving       40000

    67890          February                      2012                 Soft                   10000

    Thanks for attaching the XML.

    In the XML, I see that first we have the repeating <Savings> node, and then we have the node

     <my:ProjLanguage>ENG</my:ProjLanguage>

    The error seems to suggest that the XSN (being used to open the form) expects the ProLanguage node to come before the Savings node.

    Are you sure that the XSN being used to generate the XML is consistent with the one being used to open the XML? That is, the schema hasn't changed?

    Yes, I actually went through and saved the XSN and published it to SP. I then replaced the XSN and XML files in the Qdabra directory with the newly saved template and still have the same problem.  I am not mapping the ProjLanguage field in the mapping.

    It works fine as long as I dont have one or more matching children. I think I mentioned that I am using O365. - I attached the template

    I am also using SubmitToSharePoint from Qrules 4.2 in this template.

    The ProjLanguage is after  </my:Savings> in the XML files that work and the XML files that do not work..

    WORKS -

    </my:Savings>
     <my:ProjLanguage>ENG</my:ProjLanguage>

    DOESNT WORK -

    </my:Savings>
     <my:ProjLanguage>ENG</my:ProjLanguage>

    Yes, please send email to support at qdabra dot com with all supporting files, so we can investigate. Thanks.
