Hey all,

 I'm trying to get the xml data format when a forms submit button is clicked in form code behind (non ribbon submit, just regular button click). Browser enabled form. Any pointers for this?

Have you tried adding a rule to the button, when the button is clicked → query for data? then choosing the xml data as your data connection.

using c# I have found either of the following are identical. Because I am submitting to sql I had to account for single ticks so I added a string replace

XPathNavigator root = CreateNavigator();

string myxml = root.OuterXml.Replace("'", "''");
string myIxml = root.InnerXml.Replace("'", "''");
