    Newbie requires help!

    Hi guys,

I have just started using Infopath and have a deadline to meet! I am designing a form with "yes" / "no" answered questions, I want a comments (which the user can populate) box to appear if the user clicks "No". Is this possible?

I also want to include a number of buttons on the form, such as "Print Form", "Save Form". Does anybody have the code to do this?

Is it possible to then export my results to a specific pre saved Excel file?

Hope someone can help, many thanks

    AC

    Hi,

Put the check box and set the condition formatting for those check boxes.

View this link given below for print view.

You could create a button that runs script/managed code. Then in the buttons onclick event handler, use the thisxdocument.submit and thisxdocument.save functions

    Hope this will help You.

    and

thisXDocument.PrintOut()for printing the form, you have to give "Full trust" to you form before printing,

For comment text box , you have to put coditional formatting based on selected value of "yes/no",

I hope this will help for you,

    Thanks,

    Hi,
You have to drag the buttons from the "Insert Controls" in "Taskpane",and change the label of buttons as "print" , "Save".

Double click on the buttons(Button property wizard is displayed),
Double click on "Edit from Code"(It will go to the microsoft scripting editor if you not doing in visual studio),
Place the code in that onclick function based on buttons(Print code for print button, Save code for save button) ,

What is the error you get when form is opened after Full trust?

    Thanks.

    Form template: file:///\\CN3RFIL049\WIP_DOCS$\cooka838\BR93\STORES%20T1.xsn
The form template is trying to access files and settings on your computer. InfoPath cannot grant access to these files and settings because the form template is not fully trusted.

    Really stuck!

Regarding your error message when trying to open the form the following link may be of use:

There are a few other threads on the same topic if you wish to search further. (Assuming it's relevant)
