I need to perform a changeview when I click on a New Record Button, but New Record button type seems not perform js code.
Can you help me?

Hi Raoul,

Yes(I hope if I'm not wrong), We can't modify the functionality of New Record type button(it has it's own functionality by design of this control in InfoPath) by using rules or code to switch the other view.

If you want to really switch a view for a button click use the below code in Java script by using other button.
XDocument.View.SwitchView("view2");

thanks for reply. I have no problem to switch view, but I have necessity to switch it when operator has to insert a new record (he can start from a particular view).

Hi,

If you have a repeating section it's really easy simply add a rules based on a condition (if myfield=1) change my view.

If you have a repeating table that ca be more difficult and like say uma the easiest way is make a button for add row and chage the view!
