    InfoPath Button Update Setting

Can anyone explain to me what I'm doing wrong? I have a form with 3 views; one being an originator view, one for accounting data entry then another one for a final approval view. I have added an InfoPath Button and switched the type to Update but after I enter information into the form and click the Update Button, SharePoint isn't updated and it appears that the button has no reaction at all (the web page doesn't look like it's "thinking"). I have the fields promoted to the list in the form library, not sure if that matters or not.

Thanks in advance for any helpful input.

Probably a postback setting. In the designer, right click on the button and choose properties and then click on Browser and set it to Always. That should do the trick.

That didn't work. I have tried that and I also went into the settings in InfoPath and checked the Update box to be displayed in the ribbon on SharePoint. Even when I click that, no result. The computer doesn't appear to even react to it. Again, it's like the computer isn't even "thinking" when I click it.
