 I'm having problems with the SubmitToSharePointList qRules command. When I create a new record in the forms library, it works great (see illustration).

However, when I update the forms record, the related List record is not updating. I get the error shown in the illustration.

I understand what the error is telling me about the existing list record, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

Help please.

Have you verified the ID field is getting populated in your XML? You aren't perhaps submitting your XML to the SharePoint library prior to running the SubmitToSharePointList command?

 The id is getting in the xml -  I have it displayed at the bottom of the form with other 'diagnostic' data... and I disabled the other rules in order to check exactly what you mentioned.

 absolutely.
