InfoPath Dev

Is it possible to save an InfoPath form in Excel format?  I know a form saves as XML but I have a customer who needs the data from an InfoPath form in an Excel file.  Anyone know if or how this can be done?

Vice versa, In Infopath Designer 2010, File > New > Convert Existing Form

• Creates a new form template based on either a Word or
  Excel file. InfoPath creates the underlying data structure
  based on the layout of the original form, updating the data
  structure based on any changes you then make to the form

 I am currently  using Ms office 2010 in Windows 7 Professional. I tried to export a form on Info Path to Excel  I did the selections as follows.

• Only form data in the current view except tables and lists

When I click next, there is another list of things appeared with check against them and asked to select the fields to be exported. I selected all fields since I need all fields from the form to be exported to excel. When I click next there was an error message popped up saying that "Only 256 fields can be uploaded one time. Modify your selection to continue." Could you please help in exporting the form data at once without selecting field by field every time which is time consuming and hefty job.
