I've been designing a form and unfortunately need to use rich text boxes in part due to the tables/formatting advantage and also to preserve legacy. I've created a tab based design (buttons to switch views that look like tabs) and for some reason we have two rich text boxes in which the data disappears at random when clicking between the tabs. It doesn't happen all the time and not for any specific user (we've tested multiple). We do have code in the form but it's only for an attachment library which creates an attachment table in the "Attachment" tab. There is also an "Upload Attachment" button on a few views. When clicked, it runs the code to upload a file, place it into the attachment library, and update the attachment table ... which also makes the data in these two fields disappear occasionally. The fields are not called in the code at all. It seems to be just happening on occasion when the form/rich text boxes refresh. However, setting the rich text box's browser form option to "Never" doesn't seem to help either.
Has this ever happened to anyone or does anyone have any idea why this could be happening? It's been frustrating me for quite some time!
