Using SharePoint list as an array

Hello,
I'm programing in infopath in JS.
I wanted to know if it is possible to connact to a list in sharepoint using JS and use it as an array.

You can get data from the Sharepoint List using "Lists" webservice provided by sharepoint. You will get data in the form of an XML. If you want you convert it to an array applying some logic and use that data.
