Field drop down linked to Sharepoint List - show concatenated field - show full list not 30 items.

    Hi all,

Sharepoint list needs to have two columns made into one to show full name.

How does one do this without it showing "string#&""&Fred" instead of Smith Fred.

Can I refrenece a concatenated field?

    I tried   = Concatenate([Last_Name]&" "&[First_Name]) for the column which I called Full_Name.

Current list is filtered - somewhere I believe I have to create another view - but how do I reference this view?

I did create the column and hide it, in default view and only show it in the Full_View option.

When I do link the list I can only see 30 lines and the "String# &.....

So I have a phone list which I want to reference the Full_Name Column and see the full list of users instead of 30.

I am using Infopath 2010 with compatability for 2007 forms.

Is ther hope to be able to do this and if so any advise help assistance readily accepted and appreciated.

    - As an aside - I now have a virtual machine set up so that I can use the qDabra rules and learn how to attach these to an infopath form - the only way around corporate rules - Cheers Patrick -  See Patrick there is hope for that problem Kiwi that needed sugar during the seminar in Auckland in July.

    Kind Regards.

And the answer to one part is

    "

ยท         Hi unfortunately no, it must be the default view. A workaround:

Add a new view based of your current default view.
Change the current default view to show all items.
On the default view page modify the webpart properties and select it to "hidden".
Add a new webpart > add the list > change the view in the webpart properties to the new view you just created.

Now it appears that the default view is only 100 items, but it's really all items - the form is happy and so are your end users. I hope that helps."

Now how to suppress the  string;#Andrews Daniel result

And the answer to my final part can be found in this forum here.
