Hi,

I'm working with a database-template and have a repeating section with all my field of my database.

for example:

user: ...
budget: ...
car: ... 

Now what I want to do is something like this:

user: ...
budget: ...
car: ...
possible choices car: ...

and if you choose a car in possible choices car, the value of the car field will be set.

But how to add "possible choices car" into the repeating section?
If I create a new field I get this error: Control cannot repeat here

Hi-

If you have a database-bound form, your schema is locked to SQL. Are there little locks in the form's schema? That's why you can't modify the schema, add nodes, etc.

You would need to make the change in SQL first, then allow InfoPath to regenerate the form schema to match the updates in SQL, thus maintaining the form bound to SQL.

Sorry that I just reply now. 

You mean that I have to insert all the possibilities into a column in sql?

Now my problem is:
will explain it with my car example, I have this:

user: ...
birthday: ...
age: ...
budget: ...
car: ...
possible choices car: ...

Age is calculated when the user insert his birthday.
I have 3 choice different field for "possible choices car", one for users younger then 20, one for user between 20 and 30, one for users older then 30.
When the age is calculated, only the right choice field is visible, and when they choose a car in the choice field the field car is automatically filled.

Now is the problem, when I have 3 users in the same form and I change the car choice of one users, the field car is changed automaticallyfor every user.

How can I say that, if the choice field of this repeating section is changed, change the car field of this repeating section and not all the car fields?
