I am attempting to create an InfoPath 2003 form to document new product builds at work. There will be many pictures that will be uploaded into each form, and I would like to keep the form as simple as possible for the people uploading all of the information into the form. Ideally I would like to make the pictures auto-fill, is there a way to give infopath a link to the image? The image location will be based on two infopath text fields, one named PartNumber, and one named SerialNumber.
The images will be pre-saved to a path on the network which will be along the lines of \\......\PartNumber\PartNumber-SerialNumber\image.JPG
Each image file will be pre-named to represent the InfoPath field I want it inserted to.
Is there a way to have InfoPath auto-fill my picture boxes with the specified image once the user fills in the PartNumber and SerialNumber field inside of the InfoPath form?
I've been trying to set a rule for this, but so far I have had no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
