    Two Forms One List

I have a Sharepoint list and a form in place.

I'd like to create a second form that submits data to the same list, but that looks completely differently. How do I create a second form? Whenever I start to create one that relates to the list in Infopath designer it just opens the original form for me to edit.

I don't think you can. I think you can create a different view ... but I'm not sure what all will be available to you in a list form for switching those views.

First, you can use CAML template + http://sharepointserver/_vti_bin/lists.asmx in order to submit instead of publish more than one template on one list. See,

A little bit laborious with limited designing diversity  but more than nothing

Second, you can save a template locally from Infopath Designer as different files, they have  .XSN extension but under different names and quick publish them on a list after editing-changing. The last published one will be used from sharepoint
