Switching to a different content type on an existing form

I have a list with 5 content types.  The content types are very similar except that each one tracks one additional dimension for an item.  I created an InfoPath form for one of the content types.  I'd like to copy this form (expecially the many rules that I set up to populate and calculate fields within the form) for the other 4 content types.  However, if I copy and paste into a new form, the rules do not copy over and I cannot manually copy them from the source form to the target.  I have 'pushed' the source template to another content type via SP Designer, however, the main data source remains linked to the original content type.  The only way I can see to link the form to a specific content type is in the creation wizard where you select the content after selecting the list.

I feel the answer should be simple.  Am I missing something?  Your help is appreciated.
