Conditional Formatting for repeating section troubles

This seems like elementary logic, but conditional formatting rules are not getting it done.

I'm using IP 2007 to create a form which will create custom data views based on the data in a SharePoint list. I want a repeating section that appears only when a drop down value is selected (on the main data source). The repeating section has 3 values to compare. Simply.... value1 is not equal to datasourcevalue1 OR datasourcevalue2 OR datasourcevalue3  hide the control. It works fine when value1 equals datasourcevalue1, but not on any other scenarios. Maybe my thinking is off... is there a formula or xpath I need to insert?

     Thanks

To simplify the logic, I would place the repeating section inside a section and place the logic for the dropdown on the section instead of the repeating one.  That's step 1.  Next thing I would recommend is to have 3 separate conditions on the repeating control to hide the section, one for each value.  If that doesn't work, you can also try 3 separate conditional formatting rules and that might do the trick.  Hopefully that works for you!

What does the condition you're using look like?  I think the one you should use would look like this:

value1 is not equal to datasourcevalue1

    AND

value1 is not equal to datasourcevalue2

    AND

value1 is not equal to datasourcevalue3
