    Annoying Email Confirmation Boxes

    Hi

After searching the internet and the office community forum i cannot find an answer. For each email the form generates you have to confirm that you wish to send it, i am guessing it is an outlook security feature but how can it be switched off as some of my forms mail on to up to 5 different people, whih means five separate clicks.

I read of one poor designer that has to mail on to 40 people and at that point it just becomes silly. I am thinking that it is a holdover from the development stage to stop the form spamming but our designers are responsible people and as the only way to use an infopath form is to have infopath, the spammers are much better off using email and web links that everyone receives.

Can someone please look into this as I know it frustrates some of my users and i am at my wits end.

    Cheers Adam

    Hi Adam,

This has been discussed on the forum before and the conclusion we came to was that there was no workaround.

Sorry to disappoint you, maybe you can figure something cool out with a custom web service that takes XML as input and sends e-mails to a lot of people. Please let us know what you figure out!

    Hi Adam,
If your form is full trust, you can write some IMAPI code (or adapter) to send without a dialog, but that's a lot of work.

This indeed requires a Full Trust form. The reason for the confirmation popup is to prevent SPAM email wherein some malicious user writes a form to send email without you knowing about it.
