    how to assign a blank value for a date field

    how to assign a blank value to a date field. I use webservices to retrieve and send data to the data base. In this case a user must enter a date field. he/she can not leave the date field blank. how can i solve this problem.

    Use the validation button in the date fields properties and specify it cannot be blank.

    That will do it for you.
