Displaying the total row count of a secondary data source repeating table?

Is it possible to show the total row count of a secondary data repeating table? For a normal repeating table I use "count(repeating-table)". However for a secondary data source I can only seem to show the total count based on queries. The problem is that I setup a lot of complex filters for that table and I would hate to go through and setup all of those filters to display the total count as well. Is there somewhere in the xsd that I can set a unique name for my repeating table?

Hi - are you saying that your repeating table contains 100 rows and you want to instead just count the rows that are displayed in the form (you've filtered to show only 10, for example)? I'm afraid your count will have to include the filters / XPath you are using for display - I don't know of any shortcut for that, I'm afraid.
