    Question about Mapping File

I am wondering when qRules reads the mapping file created for SubmitToSharePointList? The mapping file is stored on my local computer, but the form is published to Office 365. Does it read it from my local PC once and store it within the form? The main reason I am asking is I am copying an entire site and the mapping files I've created for the InfoPath forms are copied as well but of course the software doing the copying doesn't touch the mapping files, so they post back to the source site. I'm hoping I can just go and edit the mapping file and point it to the new site, but I would like to understand when the file gets read, etc.

    Re: Question about Mapping File

    Hi-

Through the file is created on your local machine, the mapping.xml is included in the form template as a resource file, so the form will be reading the mapping.xml from that resource file (and not from your local drive).

When making a change to the mapping.xml locally, you would need to make sure to reattach that latest xml to the XSN form template; that is, it won't be updated automatically.

    Hope this helps!
