Looking up Usernames in a repeating table

I have a repeating table with a field for Username and Amount. The point here is that the repeating table allows the person filling out the form to insert usernames from a SP list and the dollar amount that user is requesting. As this is happening, I need to sort the repeating table to grab the total amount of money requested (totaled) per user. The workflow evolves around the dollar amount but I can't figure how to approach this. Any suggestions?

Sorting a repeating table isn't a function that is available out of box in InfoPath.  You can try using qRules (http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules_new.aspx) or you'll have to write your own code to do so.

Well, I just want to build a report based of the repeating table I guess. I want to display each user name in the repeating table that has been entered and how much their total amount was. So if User 1 has a couple entries in the repeating table, I want to show that User 1 requested 10k toal. If User 2 requests something in there as well, I want User 2 to be displayed with the amount they requested as well.

I can't paste screen shots...It would be easier to paint out if I could.
