Automatically delete/move InfoPath form when database connected has been changed

Here's the scenario. My InfoPath form is connected to our Employees Database. They submit certificates on one document library with an InfoPath form template.

Is it possible for the InfoPath form submitted by the user to be deleted/archived automatically when the "employee status" of the user (which is a field on the database) has been changed to "RESIGNED"?

I am using MOSS 2007 and InfoPath 2007.

Thank you so much in advance.

Should be possible if you're using SharePoint workflows.  You'll need the employee status field to be promoted, so that you have access to it in the workflow.  Then when you are building your workflow you'll need to have an action that checks if the status is equal to resigned move this item to another library.  Haven't personally done this myself, but sounds like it should work.  Good luck!

I haven't really tried it yet but will the promoted field be updated too if the data has been changed from the database? Does it work both ways? Meaning once promoted, unless changed from the document library itself, the data will not change.
