Hi Guys,

I have written a number of forms in infopath and really starting to grasp the power of this tool. All the forms that I have written have been published to our internal Sharepoint site and this has worked like a 'Hand in Glove' to infopath. Very impressed.

From what I have picked up so far, I can connect to an Access database or an SQL database (although i have never done this).

I have now been asked to write a number of forms that connect to an externally hosted SQL site. ie connect (send and recieve data) to a SQL server that is hosted on an internet site. As I have never gone down this path to know if it is even possible, I thought that i would ask you guys first if this is possible?

Thanks for this Gennady, I will research the webservice option in more detail.

Can DBXL connect to a hosted SQL site?
