InfoPath Dev

I work for a fire protection company which we use infopath to fill out our inspection forms. We also use MobileTEC which is a dispatching program which gives a work order number, customer contact information, job location etc. Here is were my question comes in play, we also have our forms set up and im trying to fix one form which does not auto populate some information. This is the way we have all our forms set up. We enter the work order number on the infopath form, once we enter that work order number it will auto populate all the customer information. I tried looking at a form that does auto populate once i enter the work order number but cant seem to figure it out. Some how im sure these two (infopath/MobileTEC) are working together. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? im willing to post a screen shot of what we have. 

Hi - there may be rules on the field bound to the control where you enter the work order number. I'd guess, off-hand, that the form then queries for the correct data - but I'd start with looking at the rules on the field bound to the work order number.

I tired looking at rules for that and it does not seem to any have any rules for that field? any other ideas? this screen shot of the report is a working report which i can enter the WO# on the top left and it will auto populate all the customer information. 

There must be some logic somewhere - do the other fields that get populated have default values?

i just checked each field, the only one have has a default value is the date.

Right click one of the fields that gets set in the data source task pane and select Rule Inspector - that will hopefully give you some insight into what may be setting the fields.

Here is the file, the file i attached auto populates when a number is entered into the WO field. So i want to know what information i need off this form to make a non auto populating form auto populate

It had never occurred to me - but your form has code - I can see a compiled DLL. That means you'll need the source code for the form to figure out what it's doing or how to replicate it.

how do i find that code?

Well, it is a compiled DLL in the form - you need the code source files. Do you know who originally developed the form? That's where I'd start.
