Forgive me if this is not an InfoPath error. We have one user at my company that when he clicks to open the XML file it will display a "File Downloading" message and after 1-2 minutes the form will finally load in InfoPath. If you hit CANCEL as soon as you see the downloading message the form will open right away. This form has been in use at my company for several years and worked under XP and Office 2007. When we started to use Win 7 and Office 2010 (both were rolled out together so I am not sure which one is the culprit) some users would get a "Smart Card" message that you could cancel twice and then wait for a min or two and then the form would open. After installing a Trust Certificate for the users seeing this issue then the smart card warning went away as well as the 1-2 min wait and the form would load right away. That issue was taken care of a few months back but it has just come to our attention that one user never followed our help document and has been waiting 2 minutes for the file to load. I have installed the certificate for him which cut some of the load time down but he still gets the "downloading" box which none of the other users get. hitting Cancel will open the form right away so I am not sure what the "Downloading" box is doing. Is there any way to get rid of this. Again i apologize if this is not an InfoPath error. It could be an IE setting or a Windows setting that I am missing too.
