Hi there, I have been trying to validate an encounter date picker so that it can compare the date chosen as the encounter date with the date of birth(which is usually pre-populated) and allow only ages that are between (1.5yrs to 5yrs). Thus the validation should display an error message whenever one enters/chooses an encounter date that adds up to less than 1.5yrs or greater than 5yrs.Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. I am currently using info path 2003.

Your choices are extremely limited with IP 2003. With 2007, there is a function for adding days. I'm afraid the only option in IP 2003 may be code.

Unless you are using Visual Studio, you'll need to write jscript or vbscript - I'm fluent in neither, I'm afraid.
