I have rules associated with a button, but when a user clicks the x button in InfoPath, the rules don't fire, what should i do to ensure that the rules fire regardless of how the user tries to close Infopath?

Hi Dean,
I believe you'll need to train users to use the close button instead of closing the window. Closing the window won't allow the "on close" rules to execute.
