I have a repeating section with a field called "startTime" containing values in "hh:mm" format and I want the total of all the "hh" to display in another box outside of the repeating section. I know if the "starTime" is a whole number you can say sum(startTime) and it adds all the numbers but, in the format I have for the field I tried sum(substring-before(startTime,":")) and it doesn't work. Any ideas?
