    Connection to SQL Server

    Hi guys,

i have to design a new sharepoint list form.

in this form i musst select data from another database.

In the connection wizard i've to declare my sql script to fetch the data. Is it possible to use
the function userName() in this dialog? or how can i use my textfields from my form in the sql statement?

    thanks for help!

    greets

I advise you to reformulate your question.

At least to me it is not comprehensible

Hi - unfortunately, it isn't possible in InfoPath to use field values or functions in your SQL queries. You'd need to use code, use a web service connection instead of a SQL connection (our web service, DBXL, can query SQL DBs with form values) or you could try qRules which has a command that can do this. Sorry that there isn't an out of the box way.
