    Submit form to shared drive

I have a form that when user clicks the submit button (custom button on the form) that the form is submitted to a sharepoint library. Now, I need the form to be sent to a shared linux drive. Is this possible to tell infopath to send the form to a shared drive (I just need to send the xml file of the form) with a rule or action? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    This usually required code.

If you cannot write your own custom code, you could try qRules, which has a command called SaveToPath which will accomplish this. However, note that whether you use qRules or custom code, you'll need to make the form Full Trust and it cannot be a browser-enabled form.

    Good luck!

Hi, I was wondering if this is something that could be completed using a Workflow once the file has arrived with the correct format/status etc in the SharePoint list?  It's not something that SharePoint Designer workflows could easily do (unless you were to create that as a custom Workflow activity of course), however it would be simple to perform in a Visual Studio approach.  The WF could run either upon first save into the library or upon the setting of a condition etc.

I must admit never to have done this, however I do believe it is a real possibility.
