How do I mark a check box true if a sections has been filled out.

I have a form with several sections.  Each section has multipul user tasks in it with a check box next to each task. A user opens the form and then checks off each task as it is done.  Then resubmits the form.

What I need help with is that when ALL the boxes are checked off in a section, I need to create a rule that checks off a single "Completed" check box for that section.  So when when the section is completed by the user the "Completed" checkbox is check automaticaly for them.  For the life of me I can not figure out how to formulate the rule.

Any sugestions would be appreciated.  Thanks for the help!

Should be able to do this with a regular rule.  You basically need a rule that checks whether all your sections are completed.  Let's say the variables are Completed1, Completed2, Completed3, and CompletedAll.  The rule needs to say if completed1/2/3 = TRUE, then set a fields value CompletedAll = TRUE.  The rules needs to be on Completed1/2/3, that is all of them.  This way whenever any of the values of those fields change, it will perform the check.  Hope that makes sense!

Anson, Thanks for your responce.  I had started out that way but a rule can only have five AND statments.  Some sections have up to 20 checkboxes.

P.S. this is a browser based form so I can not use code behind.

If you click on any of those rules in the left dropdown and select this expression, it will expand out the rule as an xpath.  You can now add to this rule at the end of it by typing out "and" then the next expression, etc.  This way you can have 20 expressions in a single rule.

Anson, thank you very much. I didn't know you could expand the expression that way.  This is a big help.
