When i submit to my list, the items show up in SP but the item id is only returned for one of the 3 items in my repeating table. I am getting the following error. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you provide info on your data schema and the command used? If possible, attach the form via the Options tab, so we can also take a look at the mapping.

My form is attached. The error occurs when I use the Submit Report button with the following command, SubmitToSharePointList /submit=MeasurementDataSubmit /mapping=MeasurementDataMapping /id=my:measurementID.

I am using the combo boxes to select an item from a SP List, then using the Update Metrics List to get the related items to populate the Repeating Section (Metrics). i add data to the rows in the Repeating Table  (Data node) and after clicking the Submit Report button, only the measurementID field in the 1st row of the repeating section gets updated, the others remain blank and i get the error.

Hi - this is nested repeating data - I don't believe we've tested the command with that as far as the ID parameter goes, and I'm thinking that the command won't currently handle for it. I'm going to take a look, see if there is anything I can do for this for the 4.2 release.

Ok, thank you very much. If this is a limitation of the qrules command, i may be stuck because this structure meets my business requirements.

Hi there - looks like we'll have this fixed for 4.2. I've just made some changes that have my test form working correctly - I need to do a little more unit testing, then get these changes to the test team for more rigorous testing, but I believe the new approach will work just dandy.

THanks, when do you anticipate releaseing 4.2?

It will be sometime this month - we'd hoped for June 15, but still have quite a bit of documentation, etc. to complete, so it may be June 22.

Send me an email via the forum if you'd like me to inject a test copy of your form with the 4.2 beta so you can test it - it will be another day or two before I'm ready to do that, but if you don't mind beta testing, it would get your issue fixed sooner. :-)

How do i send you an email with an attachment? the private message and email forms do not seem to provide the ability to attach a file
