The departments also have ID numbers that are being stored as the value with the name of the department as the display. I had manually typed in the list but because I want to display it in other places, I made a SQL database to it. I got the connection working just fine for the list, but there were rules that are based on the value in this field - they are not working anymore. Any ideas??? 04-30-2006 07:09 PM In reply to shailaja Joined on 07-20-2005 India Posts 115 Re: SQL Data connection rules Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hello Jbabcock, Rules do not change when you change data connection for the list, but they get changed when you change binding to a new field in XML. If you have changed binding then you need to set all the rules again.Hope this helps! Reply Contact So, you're now using the "Look up values in a data connection to a database, Web service, file, or sharepoint library or list" option?Have you set the "Value" and "Display Name" fields below?Just a thought Page 1 of 1 (3 items) Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
