    Submit Button Help

Infopath 2010 —- Urgent Help – I am very new to this…just 1 month old so please excuse my ignorance. I have created 3 buttons..to perform 3 different actions. 1st Button Properties – Action is Submit – It submits and close the form and sends it to desired alias. 2nd Button – I have written 2 rules Rule a) Visible only to specified users. (works fine) Rule b) On selecting specific region in the form ..email should reach the specific email id who handles that region. Issue – In Button Properties if I select “Action as Submit” it goes to common alias and not to the alias associated with region. If I change Button Properties — Action as “Rules and Custom Code” it sends to correct alias associated with region selected but the form doesn’t get closed and is still open on the screen (which is creating confusion to the user) 3rd Button – Action is Submit – It submits and close the form and sends it to desired alias. Works fine too. Not sure but I have the rules r written on form submit as well…I mean region rules. Any help is deeply appreciated… Regards – Jai

For the second button, just switch it to Action = Rules, and add a rule that closes the form.
