    Stopwatch

I am trying to find a way to make a Stopwatch in InfoPath and am wondering if it is possible. I have different sites with the code for making a stopwatch in Visual Basics, but to make the stopwatch work I would need to insert a timer from the toolbox in Visual Basics. When I go to insert the timer I am unable to because it is grayed out. If anyone can offer me any advise it will be appreciated :)

If you want to actually display an incrementing timer on the form, the only option that might work is a custom ActiveX control.

If you just want to determine the amount of time elapsed between a certain start and stop time, you can set up a button with rules to save the start and stop times to a pair of fields, and then use qRules or a codeless date diff approach to determine the amount of time between them.

Thank you Jimmy, I was able to get it to work with inserting a Windows Media Player and adding the url from a stopwatch I found online.
