Am new to InfoPath, using 2003 creating a form with data connection to SPv4. A normal save works fine (well, guess it would because it doesn't use the data connection) but when I try to submit the form instead (hoping to create variable filenames based on date field and maybe some other field(s) to make the file name unique), am gettig generally the same type of error whether I use a normal submit button or a button using custom code to submit using the data connection:
Data connection info
-
Sharepoint Library Form: http://sp4/sites/OTC/IPC%20Test/Forms/AllItems.aspx (I've also tried a form library without spaces in the name, did not help)
-
Filename: function of concat(Meeting_Date, AnticipatedA, AnticipatedC) (I've also tried a hardcoded valid text name like "whatever", did not help. In this case, the date format is in yyyy-mm-dd and the other two fields are values of checkboxes so just Boolean)
-
Allow overwrite if file exists: checked (I've also tried without, did not help)
Error when using button with submit action allowed
The form cannot be submitted to the following location: http://sp4/sites/OTC/IPC Test/Forms/AllItems.aspx/2012-05-25falsefalse.xml
The folder does not exist.
Error when using custom code button
InfoPath cannot submit the form.
An error occurred while the form was being submitted.
The form cannot be submitted to the following location: http://sp4/sites/OTC/mytest/Forms/AllItems.aspx/2012-05-25falsefalse.xml
The folder does not exist.
I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing but haven't found anyone having the same issue in my search through this forum (only spent an hour or so looking so forgive me if I missed previous references).
Thanks for any help in advance!
