Hide/Reveal - Silly question on formula I can't get to work.

I know this is something ridiculously easy, but I think too many hours in front of this screen has fried my brain.

I have two dropdown fields.  One (Operation) with a single selection of three choices (1, 2, 3); the other (Organization) is in a repeating section with 5 choices (a, b, c, d, e).  I need to hide an altogether different section in the following scenario:

    - Operation does not = 2  (AND)

    - Organization does not = EITHER d or e

The condition I put in was to hide when...  Operation field does not equal 2 AND All Organization fields do not equal d OR All Organization fields do not equal e

However, the only time the section is not hidden is when Operation = 2 and Organization = e.  If I choose 2 and d, it remains hidden.  I tried using AND rather than OR... didn't work.  I tried not using All Org fields... didn't work.

    I assume there's something obvious I'm missing.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    You may need 4 conditions:

Operation is not equal to 2
    AND
All instances of Organization are not equal to d
    OR
Operation is not equal to 2
    AND
All instances of Organization are not equal to e

I'm sort of dyslexic with this whole Not Equal And Hide thing - we wander off into triple negative land, which usually just makes my brain implode. Sometimes I just temporarily put expression boxes on the form with the different conditions so I can see if they are evaluating to true or false...
