    Jimmy

Thanks hugely for the guidance over this element. I'm certain that many people will have used this as I have to get things working correctly, and to concatenate a bunch of variables into a single field, so thanks for the help. For myself I've used it to create a list of email addresses which I then swing through into SharePoint and use in a workflow (better formatting, layout and options etc in SP Designer than through IP).

However there is one thing that does worry be about this, namely that as soon as I add this processing onto the 2 fields in the form, I get a Processing error appear in the Rule Inspector for the Calculate Default Values and Actions elements. I can still save the form and publish it ok (I think) and if I look at the design checker it doesn't throw a hissy fit (which is great), so is there any concern in having this processing error?

Do you get one in your situation and do other users such as Jen B get one?  I'd appreciate any feedback people have over this, and like to know the root cause if you can second guess the problem.

    Again thanks for the help.

Yes, it does seem to be common for the double eval trick to cause a processing error in the design checker.  I haven't heard of this causing any actual issues in the operation or publishing of the form, but it does prevent the design checker from displaying everything correctly.

Perhaps this would be a good reason for us to add a Join command to our qRules suite.  We'll take it under consideration.

I have to correct myself.  qRules has included a command for creating delimited lists for some time now.  It's called DelimitedList

So there's always that option if the errors in the logic inspector prove to be a problem for you.
