Calculated value from another calculated value

    Hi

I have been asked to InfoPath a paper based form for the Company.  There is 3 levels of numbering which is required:

The main project will have a number assigned from a central repository (eg 1000) - this is in field txtProject

Each defect in the project will have a sub number assigned to it (eg 1000-1) this is in field calcDefect

Each iteration to fix the defect will have a further sub number applied (eg 1000-1-1) this will be in calcIteration

I have managed to get the xPath to work for the first level, (calcDefect) but how do I then reference that field to get the next level (calcIteration)?

    Regards

     Mark

Perhaps you could just concat the fields together?  Something like concat(calcDefect, "-1")

Thanks Anson, however it appears my calculated field does not have a name or any place to enter one?

In the properties you can enter a formula (fx button) for the calculated value control.  This is where you would build your concat statement.  Let me know if you still can't find it.  Good luck!
