I have followed the guide here: http://www.avanadeblog.com/sharepoin...path-2010.html I have successfully added the connection, which completed with no errors. When I try to use the connection however, I get the following error: "The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: REST Connection InfoPath cannot run the specified query. The file is not a valid XML file. Not enough storage is available to process this command." Any ideas? 05-21-2012 08:54 AM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: REST Connection to Excel in Infopath Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hello, thanks for replying. It's an http connection. I'm not using IE at the moment, it's just using the preview in Infopath. When I type the address into IE, it works and returns the correct value. 05-22-2012 07:34 AM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: REST Connection to Excel in Infopath Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact InfoPath leverages IE settings for some things, which is why I asked - unfortunately, that's the only time I've seen this error - with https and IE8. Your REST query isn't returning a huge amount of data, is it? Reply Contact No, a very small return. I have got it working now, looks like I was passing the date&time when it was only looking for the date. I have sent a substring and now it's working.
