Here is a video that might help: http://channel9.msdn.com/Blogs/laurhar/InfoPath-2010-Create-tabs-using-picture-buttons-dupe

The video is for 2010 and picture buttons.  But you can use regular buttons instead and the concept will be the same.

Re: infopath form with multiple tabs input to sharepoint library

sorry to disturb you after a long back as you said i did repeated section dropdownlist information for repeating table values but it displays the results in column as (repeating table and repeating section as merge results) continuously with out format. but, i want like this (in parallel columns in sharepoint document library) repeating section value1 columns holding repeating table value1, value2, value3 till repeating table value3 it should reflect repeating section dropdownvalue list value as 1 and so on... repeating section value2 holding repeating table value1, value2, value3 or like this as appending repeating section value to repeating table values (in parallel columns in sharepoint document library) repeating section value1 with repeating table value1, repeating section value1 with repeating table value2, repeating section value1 with repeating table value3 and repeating section value2 with repeating table value1, repeating section value2with repeating table value2, repeating section value2 with repeating table value3 etc., pls give me your suggestion thanks vijay

This is the most commonly asked question for InfoPath and SharePoint. We have many posts on this site describing techniques. Please search a bit.
