Refresh a repeating section from a button

    Hello,

I would like to add a "refresh" button to update values in a repeating section. I've added a rule to my button, select modify field value, added field name, and formula . The problem is that the formula is compute once, and the result is duplicated to all the fields. Is it possible to compute the formula per line and not once ?

    Many thanks for your help,

    Hi PleKy,
    Welcome to the Forum!
Where is your button? Is it inside the repeating section?
If it is inside the repeating section then it will update that row itself.

    Hello Agni,

the button is outside the section. One idea is maybe to set the data to a weird value and add a rule for this data if it match the weird value to recompute it...

    Hi PleKy,
If your button is outside the repeating section, then you need to filter to which ro you want to set value. This cannot be direcly done in the UI, so you have to write the code to get the correct node and set the value.

What you have specified is a workaround and it is not good to do such workaround unless untill necessary.

    Hi!

I'm interested in how this story ended. I have the same problem I don't know how to solve it. Can anyone tell me what can I do?
